For those not familiar, or newly diagnosed... a little #LupusInfo: Lupus is a complex autoimmune disease. Most lupies end up with a TEAM of doctors to treat the different symptoms or overlapping illnesses that come from either the disease or medications to treat the disease. #LupieWarriors, how many doctors are currently on your team? At this time my Lupie team consists of my primary doctor, rheumatologist, endocrinologist, hematologist, pulmonologist, opthalmologist, dentist, and they want me to get the neurologist and gastroenterologist back on board again... that's for the symptoms I'm currently dealing with. My months get pretty booked with doctor appointments and labs, tests, scans, etc. I'm guessing a pretty typical type thing for most lupies, specially SLE lupies who deal with different organs attacked. I will tell her your welcome, I am trying to make this a source for information as well as support, not just for autism, but all other things that affect our lives.
